There is no doubt the new ‘Write you final chapter’ campaign for Alex Gow Funerals is a little left of centre but the response has been amazing.
The fresh, colourful creative targets slightly younger people from all walks of life and encourages them to think about pre-planning to ensure they get the funeral they want and to have their story told correctly.
There are 6 different creative executions in the 12-month campaign running across Brisbane through APN.
Creative strategist Mark Skinner said it was amazing the stories that come out at funerals. Stories that shaped peoples lives but are rarely told can help us all relive history when delivered so well at a funeral. My own grandfather was a circus clown and tight-rope walker as a young man and even played cornet in the band. Just finding that out was such a joy and helped me remember him in a different light.
Our lives are in-fact stories and by pre-planning our funerals we get to write our final chapter and have those stories told.
We are lucky that the client is so forward thinking as it allows for us to experiment and shape their brand as modern and innovative as well as kind and caring.
